I’m thinking of picking up one of these for my next car. For $36 Canadian, I figure that it’s worth a shot. What does OPPO think?

Don’t know the brand but for that price who gives a shit?

Just read reviews. As long as it doesn’t set the car on fire, definitely go for it!

Exactly! It’s $36 for a brand new head unit with Bluetooth! Even if it has a crappy integral mic, it’s still better than OEM 90s GM electronics.

It seems good. In a month, I'll probably buy one.

Or, get a bluetooth receiver, some wire and an aux jack for half the price.
I know which way I would go though, and it isn't what I just said. For that price, it's just not worth it. What's it going in?

A GMT400. I've already installed a brand-name head unit in one. I figure that for $36, it's worth a shot if it's going in a beater truck.

If it works for 6 months it's paid for itself, and you always have the stock one to fall back on, anyways. do it

If it works for more than a few months and doesn't catch fire, it’s worth it; it costs about the same as a used and much older oem unit, and even looks a bit better than a lot of aftermarket headunits. Who cares if it isn’t name brand?

Heck, if it works for a month, it's worth it. I shall buy one when I move.

My thoughts exactly!
